Over the last few months my family and I have had a lot of things of different situations going on. It is the kind of stuff that leaves moms stressed to the limit, and scrambling on how to keep things going. Which leads to a roller-coaster ride of emotions. We have finally hit that part of the storm started where we finally begin to feel the normalcy enter back into our household.
Here are few of My Favorite Tips to get Back On Track!
The Big Stuff
Organize everything mentally. Start to prioritizes things in order of importance. Once you figure that out. Tackle each one at a time with as much efficiency as possible.
I personally think that your family should be your Top Priority. Sometime when things get hectic your loved ones might start to feel a little neglected. It's a natural reaction to have. That is why when things start to deviate from the normal. I try to make it a point to spend time with each of my children individually. I think that this time together is a great way to remind them that they are important to me and that they are loved. It is also a great way to catch up and talk about the things going on in their lives. Which sometimes can fall through the cracks when things get hectic in our everyday lives. Bonding time isn't just good for the kids. It is also good for myself as well. I not only get to have my children's undivided attention for a period of time, but we actually get to have conversations that we night not to be able to have with the rest of the family around.
Take Time For Yourself
Taking time for myself is always my third step to Getting Back on Track. I personally can not relax until I know everyone else is okay and that we have had the opportunity to regrouped/reconnected. Once the first two things are accomplished. It is now time to focus on myself. Which for me mean hiking in the woods. Hiking is my go to activity. It brings me peace, a clear head, and well it's beautiful no matter what season it is here in the Pacific northwest.
