Fall is in full swing!
What are your 5 must haves of the season?
Here is my list.
This is the first one my list of top 5 must haves. The fall wind can be pretty harsh on my lips. My go to lip saver is Hive SPF 15 in the sent vanilla.
2.Matching Scarf and Headband
These two amazing wardrobe pieces can easily make an outfit. You can look trendy and put together. All while staying nice and warm.
These are a glorious creation. They run fairly cheap and make me feel as if I have just bought a nice new pair of boots. A friend to both my wardrobe and my wallet.
My Fireside Throw
I could not live with out this extra large comfy blanket if I wanted to. It's incredibly thick. Making it perfect for picnics or concerts outside. My favorite way to utilize its wondrous properties is right next to the bonfire. That's why you will always find mine in the trunk of the car.
FOE Hair Ties
I have these laying around everywhere. In my purse, my car, my backpack, and of course next to my bed. I love that they don't get tangled in my curls. I also love that they are made right here in the USA. They are also light and easy to carry around with me for those just in case moments.
I'm looking forward to seeing your fall style favorites!

S'Mores are great treats no matter what time of year.
Their delicious by a fire, at any party, even when their coming straight from your oven.
In total this fun little project took me about 30/40 minutes.
A great way to save some pennies and the route I opted to take. Is to use or repurpose old craft supplies.
This is what makes this an all year round project. You can customize your crafts based off of the holiday or special occasion.
List of supplies:
Hot glue gun
Extra hot glue sticks
Hole punch (not pictured)
Tape (not pictured)
Craft paper ( not pictured)
It was actually quite easy to create the decorative jars.
All you have to do is wrap the ribbon around the jar using hot glue as you go.
I used flowers as the decorative focus for some of my jars, but you could use buttons,
paper clips, clothes line clips, or even just adding a tag would look great.
On the other three jars, I decided to mimic a layered look.
I wrapped the bakers twine around several times before tying it off.
If you desire a little more security, glue the twine down with hot glue.
To finish off all of the jars, I cut out some decorative craft paper and added it to the top of each jar.
It is always a safe bet to assume that you are going to need more then you anticipate.
So plan ahead and have extra supplies on hand.
However to keep the theme of Trendy and fresh. Spruce up you extra supplies as well.
To start all I did was break the graham crackers and the chocolate.
Start your layers with a cracker, then add chocolate.
Continue to layer until you have enough for three to four more servings.
Once it's layered you can cut a square out of wax paper and wrap up your treat.
I wrapped these in the same fashion I would wrap a gift.
To hold the wax paper together I used tape and I used hot glue to hold the ribbon in place.
To finish off I filled a few parchment bags with marshmallows.
I punched a few holes in the bags and laced barkers twine through the holes.
This way they are sadly secured in a bag, but are also dressed up for that special occasion.
To keep all my goodies in one central location. I placed them all on a serving try.
Perfect for enjoying by the fire. While all my loved ones are wrapped up in our Fireside Throw Blanket.
Have a great week everyone!

Are you guys ready for Halloween. I'm getting there working hard filling in my to do list which you can find right here go ahead and right click and copy print off yours too!
Even if you don't get it all done at least you'll look like you put in the extra effort!
A few days ago I posted some Halloween games. I've had a few inquiries about that blog post so I thought I would share some more today.
The majority of those games that I listed are easy DIY projects. You more then likely have the stuff you need to create these games at home.
In specific I was asked about two games.
Halloween Pictionary is one of my favorites!
In our home we have played several different ways depending on the size of our get together.
We have an art easel that we used to hold a giant sketch pad.
We have also broken up into smaller groups and used paper on clip boards.
We always play with words that have to do with the special occasion that brought us together.
This year's list is pictured above.
(Please feel free to copy and print for personal use.)
The second game was tic tack toe. All I do is make a board on the table with tape. We use these little baby pumpkins on the board. I placed a tag on them stating if they were an X or O. This way I can still use them for thanksgiving.
Wishing everyone a happy Friday!
If you haven't guessed it yet, I really enjoy Halloween.
As I mentioned earlier this is the first year that I will not have any one going trick or treating. So in turn I have decided to make it a family game night.
This list could also be a great resource for any of you who are going to be hosting any Halloween parties.
Bobbing for apples
Guess how many Candy Corns
Rolling Pumpkin Race
Witch Hat toss
Pumpkin Tic Tac Toe
Pop the Pumpkin

I miss trick or treating. This will be the very first year we don't have anyone going. I think it may be a bit if a challenge to say goodbye to this portion of the night
I am however looking forward to seeing all the little ones come to the door dressed in their best costumes.. If you have little ones looking forward to trick or treating.
Here a few tips to get through the night safely!
A few years back, I decided to wear heels. My feet were killing me halfway through the night.
Make sure drivers can see you walking
Use flashlights and or some type of reflectors while out and about.
Try to keep those costumes short.
They can cause tripping with all the excitement of collecting Free candy!
If your driving...
Kids get excited and may not always be paying attention to dangers around them
Use the sidewalks if you have them in your neighborhood and try to cross at corners.
Trick or treating is fun, just remember to be safe and enjoy the memory making moments!
