You can follow a few of these helpful Remedies to help lessen the Horrid effect of the Indoor Blues.
Remedies for the Indoor Blues
There are a few little things that you can do to
help with the Indoor Blues.
1) Drink your desired morning beverage outside.
I have found that waking up just a few minutes early and enjoying my coffee on the back porch is the perfect thing to do. To not only help wake me up, but to also let me spend a few precious minutes outside listening to the birds chip, the wind blow, and the have the sun kiss my face awake.
2) Eat your lunch outside.
I am all too well known for working through lunch. There are just some times where inspiration or productivity will hit and I just don't want to break it so I power through. Although I have found that stopping and enjoying a nice lunch outside or even just opening a window and breathing in fresh air. Helps to not only inspire inspiration, but also helps to lessen the Indoor Blues that fill me with the desire to procrastinate.
3) Take some time to go for a nice quick walk outside.
It does not have to be fancy or anything crazy. Like a 6 mile trek through the wilderness. Just a simple stroll through ones neighborhood before or after work. I personally like to sneak away to the beach and walk one of the short simple trails. This should present you with enough time enjoying nature and the sun to be able to get back into the office and work your butt off. That way when your day off comes around you will not have to worry about what needs to be done at work because you will have already accomplished it.
