Most of everyone identifies productivity as accomplishing tasks directly related to work. Which I'll agree is my typical frame of mind. Although I started to think, do the building blocks of what it takes to get you to your most efficient self not count? If a good morning stretch helps to reign in my thoughts for an efficient work day then why not consider it productive towards my job.
Here are six things that might not directly relate to work productivity. However, I believe they play such a relevant and helpful role that I believe they should be.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Every Snack
I am completely useless without food, as I am sure you are. Food not only fuels my thoughts, but powers myself up with enough energy to turn into a complete power house efficiently and productively working through all of the days obstacles.
Never under estimate the value in a good stretch and steady calm breathing. I love to do a little yoga here and there throughout my week. I find that it helps to restress and calm myself. In turn establishing a fresh at ease mind for my ideas and thoughts to roam around in. A stormless mind makes the creative and capable work flow freer to my laptop.
Day Dreaming helps to fuel my imagination with endless inspirational ideas. While some of the ideas I pitch to the Thavin & Marcob team might be a little off centered. Day Dreaming when my brain feels the need to really does help myself to bring some great ideas to the table. In the moment I might have a happily glazed over look within my eyes. Which seems incredibly unproductive. I believe in reality it is actually quite when it pertains to overall productivity and success.
Everyone knows that building schedules take you further down the road to accomplishing tasks and reaching goals. I find schedules to be tremendously useful when it come to my productivity level.
There is never a brain break that is never unwanted or unneeded in my book. Whether it is to collect my thoughts, ease my mind, allow is to sore, or to give it a metaphorical pat on the pat each brain break helps to reset my work mode for a power house hour.
Proper hydration throughout the day is very important. I find that the more on point I am with my hydration the more work and creative ideas I can produce for Thavin & Marcob. If water sips lead to completed projects then those little trips to the water cooler should count as a productive task.
If it leads to productively then why not count it as productive. Let's give credit where credit is due. What are some of the little things that help you to be more productive at work?
We would love to know more about your unique personality.
