I want you/we/us, to challenge that. I want to make society understand that self-love is not selfish, nor ignorant, and it needs to be not only accepted, but celebrated. I want us to be raising the next generation to know they deserve love, and that putting an effort into themselves is not only necessary, but beneficial to themselves too.
How much better do we feel when we take those moments to nurture our soul, mind, and body? Whether it ``s during a nice bath, or maybe a run, but we feel so much better don't we? Taking the time to listen to what our body is telling us is crucial in maintaining this wholesome feeling.

I love to read, so this is one of my favorite points. I think of reading almost like exercise, but for my brain, so I really enjoy the opportunity to learn new skills, and gain new information.
Knowing and being able to recognize what your triggers are is a form of self-love, because you can then teach yourself, and learn, how to work through it, or plan something else, if it's something that is best to be avoided. To do this, you need to pay careful and close attention to situations, and your state of mind. It does require some energy, but it is worth it in the end. Knowing where you feel happy, and good, and where you don't enables you to plan accordingly
Write yourself a letter
We all have bad days, and it's completely normal, but if we can work on self-love, and taking care of ourselves, then I think those bad days wouldn't hurt us so much.
