Beauty boxes are the perfect gift to either give yourself or to someone you know will appreciate unboxing health and beauty products that invoke excitement and curiosity. MaKayla and I personally both love the idea of beauty boxes because we are able to be introduced to new products and brands at a very cost friendly price. We also love the aspect of expanding or widening our knowledge and tastes in the health and beauty products that make their way into my daily routines.
Recently we have seen a lot of buzz surrounding a few health and beauty boxes. It is not on a monthly subscription and has an asking price from $7-$5. So we thought why not and went ahead and picked up two for us to try.
Bloom Into Beauty - Beauty Box: $5
Miss Spa Hydrate Facial Sheet Mask - $2.39
Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Deep Conditioning Protein Pack - $1.39
up4 Probiotic + Prebiotic Gummies - True Sample (FULL SIZE) $15.99
--Came with a sample for two days worth
Native Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant - 2.99
Total price for products of the same size and weight without the sample amounted to $6.77.
For the asking price and the contents of the box, we both thought that it was phenomenal. We both surprisingly love the way the Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant smelled. MaKaya enjoyed its sweet aroma so much so that it made its way into her purse within minutes of us unveiling the contents of the Bloom Into Beauty Box. MaKayla went ahead and tried out the coconut deep conditioner. While she does deeply appreciate deep conditioners, herself and her hair did not care too much for this one in particular. Although aside from the frizz and poof the emerged it did make her hair feel fairly soft and hydrated. I tried out the vita-gummies and while they were enjoyable to take. I already have daily vitamins and I simply wasn't marveled enough to toss my current ones out and purchase those ones immediately. However, the next time I am in need or a restock, I may be persuaded to switch it up. The last product excluding the coupons was a hydrating sheet mask. We can all agree that sheet masks are a fun, easy, mess-free, and hassle-free way to treat your skin. Admittedly I don't feel like they do as much for my skin and I make myself believe that they do. I still do love throwing one on after a long tiresome day. All in all both MaKayla's and I's favorite product out of this beauty box was the Coconut & Vanilla deodorant. It is not something either of us would pick up if we were out shopping for deodorant. So we are happy to have been introduced to such a product through a beauty box we both agree on is worth the money.
In Your Skin Beauty Box: $5
Pixi Rose Tonic - (FULL SIZE) - 3.4oz $15.00 OR 8.45oz $29.00
Native Lavender & Rose Deodorant (Mini Not Available Online -- FULL SIZE)
Method Body Wash Pure Peace (FULL SIZE) - 18oz $6.99
Garnier SkinActive Rose Mist Spray - True Sample (FULL SIZE) - 4.4floz $6.49
Garnier SkinActive Rose Water 3-In-1 Moisturizer Packette - Ture Sample (FULL Size) - 6.75floz $6.99
Total is unknown -- None of these products were available for individual purchase in the same weight or size. I was only able to find full size options, making it hard to determine the value of the box.
We both thought it was odd and a little funny that the beauty box contained products that all followed the theme of rose, yet roses were not imaged on the boxes design. In truth, the only product that we both like out of this box was the Lavender & Rose Deodorant. It smelled lovely and will definitely come in handy at some point. The method body wash was quite nice in lather and in fragrance. However, if I am being honest it is not something I would ever purchase on my own. I am just too in love with my current body wash to change it up. The facial mist and 3 - 1 moisture packette was a nice little test try, but it wasn't enough to impress me nor enough to allow me to really get a feel for the product. Lastly aside from the coupon is the Pixi Rose Tonic which I found to be a fun addition to my beauty routine. Although once again I found the wow factor to be missing. So for myself personally once I run out it is incredibly unlikely that I will purchase again. All in all, we both personally did not think this beauty box was worth our money. While yes it was only $5 and we did receive the thrill and excitement that beauty boxes have to offer. Plainly put for both MaKayla and I the beauty box was a letdown.
